Bognor Regis, Felpham and Aldwick are a regular run to the west of us. Sir Richard Hotham built the resort in the late 1700s. Today the town runs from the seafront and Hotham Park out to Pagham, Rose Green and North Bersted.
Rewires, car chargers, lighting and EICRs: you get the same careful work and tidy finish wherever you are around Bognor. You get one clear fixed price before we start.
We are based in Rustington, east of Bognor along the coast. Bognor, Felpham and Aldwick are a regular part of our week.
Resort streets, gated estates and new homes
The old resort grew up around the seafront from the late 1700s. The art deco Town Hall dates from 1930. Arun District Council lists conservation areas at The Steyne, Hotham Park, Aldwick Road and the railway station.
Felpham has a house from about 1500 and three gated estates built between 1930 and 1960. Council homes went up toward Middleton-on-Sea in the 1970s. In Aldwick, the Craigweil area has ornate homes from the early 1900s. Aldwick Bay is a conservation area too.
Each era brings its own wiring. A 1930s house may still hide some of its first cables. A 1970s home may have an old fuse board with no RCD to cut the power in a fault.
The town is still growing. The local plan sets out at least 2,500 new homes west of Bersted and at least 1,200 at Pagham.
What we get called out for in Bognor Regis
Licensed shared houses
Arun runs an extra HMO licence in Hotham and Marine wards until January 2030. We test shared homes and give you the report the licence needs.
Houses split into flats
The same scheme covers some houses turned into flats. We test each flat plus the shared hallway lights and alarms.
New boards in Felpham and Aldwick
Older homes here often have a board with no modern protection. We test first, then fit and certify a new one.
Car chargers on new estates
New homes around Bersted and Pagham often want a charger on the drive. We check the supply, fit it and certify it.
