Rustington is home, so this is where you'll find us most. From the seafront properties and the bungalows around The Street, to the post-war estates and the newer developments toward Angmering and East Preston, we look after homes, landlords and businesses right across the village.
Rewires, fuse box upgrades, EV chargers, extra sockets, lighting, fault finding and EICRs: whatever the job, you get a local NAPIT-registered team that answers the phone, turns up when promised and leaves everything tidy, with one clear fixed price before anything starts.
Rustington is our home patch. It is the quickest place for us to reach, day or night.
Flint cottages, the Sea Estate and seaside homes
In the 1870s Rustington was a small village of about 75 houses. The oldest homes are the flint cottages around The Street, some with thatched roofs. This part of the village has been a conservation area since 1994. Old cottages need slow, careful work, so we plan every cable run with you first.
The Sea Estate went up in the 1920s and 1930s on land once meant for a wartime airfield. It is still a private estate run by its residents. Many homes there are close to 100 years old. If the wiring has never had a full test, it is worth booking one.
The village grew fast after the Second World War. Near the sea, most homes are detached houses on good-sized plots. About one in five homes is a purpose-built flat. Further north the streets are busier, with the trading estate beyond.
Rustington has one of the oldest populations on the coast. In the 2021 Census, 43% of people in Rustington East were 65 or over. More than half of all homes are owned outright. Only about one in seven is privately rented.

What we do in Rustington
Electrician in Rustington, questions answered
Do you work on the old cottages in the conservation area?
Yes. Most indoor wiring needs no planning consent. If your home is listed, ask Arun District Council before any work that changes it. We keep cables hidden and fittings neat.
How much does a new fuse board cost in Rustington?
It depends on the size of your home and the state of the wiring. We test before we quote, so there are no surprises. Then you get one fixed price in writing.
Can you fit the power for a stairlift?
Yes. We fit the supply for stairlifts and riser chairs. We also fit brighter lights, bigger switches and sockets at an easier height.
Do you cover the Sea Estate?
Yes. We cover the whole village, from the Sea Estate and the seafront up to The Street, North Lane and the trading estate.
